“But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased” (Heb. 13:16).
A STORY ABOUT EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, & NOBODY.
Volunteers were needed to assist with a special church activity.
Everybody assumed that somebody would do it.
Although anybody could have done it, nobody did.
So, somebody got angry, because it was something that everybody could do!
Then everybody got upset because somebody should have done it, but didn’t.
Alas, anybody could and should have done it, but nobody ever did.
Because everybody assumed that somebody would.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Cor 15:58).
I thank God for the members of the church in Milan that can always be counted on to help when assistance is needed at fellowships, bereavement meals and other activities. However, the number of those who unfailingly volunteer is very limited. How about you? Please take a look at the signup sheets on the bulletin board. We really need your help. And don’t forget - God will bless you for doing your part.
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Heb 6:10).
