Three elderly ladies were discussing the frustrations associated with old age. One said, “Sometimes I catch myself standing in front of the refrigerator holding a jar of mayonnaise, unable to remember if I’m putting it away or preparing to make a sandwich."
The second woman chimed in, "Yes, sometimes I find myself entering a room to get something, then have no idea what I went after."
The third, the youngest in the group, responded, "Well, I'm thankful that I don't experience any memory lapses, knock on wood." A moment after rapping on the table, she said, "Oh my, someone must be the door; I'll get it!"

As we age, it’s only natural that we will become increasingly forgetful. (Please don’t ask Brenda how many times I forget where I laid my phone, eyeglasses or keys.) Although our “senior moments” may be relatively harmless, there are 6 things that God wants us to never forget.
1. “I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word” (Psa 119:16).
· NEVER FORGET GOD'S WORD.
2. “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits…” (Psa 103:2).
· NEVER FORGET GOD'S BLESSINGS.
3. “…do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased” (Heb 13:16).
· NEVER FORGET TO DO GOOD.
4. “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels” (Heb 13:2).
· NEVER FORGET TO ASSIST STRANGERS.
5. “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psa 9:17).
· NEVER FORGET ABOUT GOD.
6. “…do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.…but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…” (2 Pet 3:8,10).
· NEVER FORGET THAT JESUS WILL RETURN.
