Atheists claim that there is no God, so it comes as no surprise they generally shun all religious services and practices. But what about people that proudly profess faith in God yet frequently deny His existence by their actions (or lack of such)? Jesus said, "By their fruits you will know them…" (Matt. 7:20). Below are a few examples:
"I believe in God, but I don’t need to assemble regularly with His church." God says, “…let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching...” (Heb. 10:24-25).
"I believe in God, but I’m too busy to read my Bible." God says, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matt. 4:4).
"I believe in God, but I don’t pray every day." God says, “Pray without ceasing” (1Th 5:17).
"I believe in God, but I can’t afford to give Him very much." God says, "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you" (Luke 6:38).
"I believe in God, but I refuse to forgive so & so for what he/she did." God says, "…if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matt. 6:15).
"I believe in God, but I leave it to the preacher to visit the sick, shut-ins and backsliding members." God says, “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble…” (Jam. 1:27).
"I believe in God, but I don't need to repent and/or be baptized." God says, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).

If we refuse to obey God commands, can we honestly say that we believe that He exists?
